Albino Squirrel

White squirrels are often mistaken for albino squirrels. Look at the eyes. Are they black or red? If the squirrel has red eyes, it’s an albino squirrel. If it has black eyes, it’s not an albino - it has leucism, which will be explained further on in the article.
