Horses Nibble on Each Other
Horses are social creatures that enjoy each other's company. They often sniff one another, rub their noses together, and nibble on each other. This behavior provides them with a sense of comfort similar to the feeling we experience when we hug and cuddle.
Additionally, it's beneficial: nibbling helps to remove parasites from their fur. You may have noticed similar behavior in monkeys, as they groom one another to eliminate bothersome "visitors" from their fur.
