6. Snake-Necked Turtle
A Little Long in the Neck
The snake-necked turtle, as you might have guessed, has a very long neck. It also holds its neck in an “S” shape, as it’s part of the pleurodira family of turtles. These turtles don’t pull their head in, but keep it under their shell to one side.
