Everyone is afraid of something: the dentist, hard exams or heavy storms. Some people are afraid of animals. Because they come out at night, bring disease, leave painful stings and bites or “just” because they’re huge predators with sharp teeth. It’s often hard to overcome animal fears with logic, even if they mostly aren’t really dangerous.
Phobias - no fun at all

But if a fear like this becomes serious, it becomes a problem and it’s called a phobia. The affected person suffers from heart palpitations, excessive sweating, nausea, dizziness, shortness of breath and may even be afraid of going crazy or dying. Thankfully, almost all phobias can be cured.
