Mice and rats are another example of animals that are more scared of us than we are of them. Yet, we flee in panic when they cross our path.

These animals do away with over 40 million tons of food each year and have become a plague especially in cities. Although they are more or less harmless, rats especially transmit dangerous diseases and are feared for that reason.
