Parrotfish

Although it looks magical, it’s got a pretty gross trick up its sleeve: before going to sleep for the night, it secretes a slime and coats itself in it. This is how it protects itself from predators.

The parrotfish is related to the perch. It lives on coral reefs, where it uses its beak-like teeth to eat plants from the coral.
