Rainbow Lorikeet

The rainbow lorikeet is a bird from the loriini family that has colorful feathers. Its head is mostly blue, its chest and neck red, yellow and orange, and its back and tail feathers are often green. The rainbow lorikeet lives in rainforests, eucalyptus woods or mangrove woods, and mostly lives off pollen and nectar. When it’s hungry, it may fly up to 31 miles (50 km) there and back to reach its favorite food. It lives in Indonesia, New Guinea and Australia.
