During winter, the nose reveals its second superpower. In the steppes of Kazakhstan, temperatures often drop below minus 30 degrees Celsius. When the antelope inhales the frigid air, it gets warmed up in the large nasal cavities, preventing the body from cooling down too much. At the same time, the nose helps cool the blood in the summer.
