The humpback whale is a type of baleen whale that is found in all seas of the world.

It’s known for singing for hours on end. This alone wouldn’t be anything special, as birds do this as well. But the songs of the humpback whale have grammar! They have certain rules for singing. Just like we have different tenses (“I’m going” or “I went”) and clauses. Of course, whales don’t talk like we do. But they combine notes to make sentences with stanzas and melodies.
