Elephants aren’t the only animals with trunks. Tapirs also have trunks that developed from the upper lip and nose, just like an elephant’s trunk. They’re very flexible, and tapirs can even use them to grab onto things.

But somehow, it just looks better on an elephant - what do you think? Still, the tapir is still a very funny, kinda cute little creature. You can’t help but love them for their looks. The nearest relatives of the tapir aren’t elephants, but the horse and the rhino.
